Those of you who know me personally know that i really wanted to be on a company design team for a long time. I have put my name in the pot for a few and the stars have just not aligned for it to happen. Well last night it happened ladies it finally happen. I am on a design team. Vicki Douglas of Queen Kat Designs asked me to a design team member and she wants me to work with the new line of stamps that they have coming from amy brown. Over on mo's digital pencil challenge blog the theme this week is pick a season and base your card on it with a mo's image. Duck day is one of my favorite mo's image so i of course choose to use her and i went with spring as my season to center my card on. She looks so happy walking in the rain with her duck friends.

Puppy love
Meljen design team challenge blog wants to see 2 images on your card. For me that usually means a image and sentiment. So i used the dalmatian dog and the freebie puppy love from meljen and then i got my good friend jen to help me out by making me a postage card file for cricut design studio using base camp. If you want the file i can put you in contact with her. I colored my image with copics and paired it with some dalmatian fire dog paper.
wtw club anya
Club anya hosts at least 3 challenges a week and i try to participate in as many as possible cause i think there images are so cute. You don't see them very often on my blog cause you upload your challenge cards to club anya gallery but this one turned out so cute and i used my cricut to cut it out to. This one is for the what you tootin about wednesday challenge to make a double side step card. I used papers from dcwv all about boys stack and skater ian. My sentiments are from a small set i have that i used in the past it from see love d's little stamps. Not sure if they are still in business or not. Anyway hope you like my card.
ghost and goblins it almost halloween time
Over at the wild flower patch we are doing halloween theme this week. Of course since it a few days before halloween what a great chance to use this adorable pumpkin lily image one last time. I paired her up with a cuttlebug background and some halloween digital papers. I also used my martha stewart drippy goo punch. Have a great halloween.
Snowbody like you
I love this snowman from whimisie doodles he makes a great winter/christmas card So far i only colored him up and blues and grays but that one of my favorite winter combos. This card also features some more of the dcwv winter wonderland paper from this year winter line. I also used a sentiment from unity stamp co kissmas and mistletoe stamp set.

This card was a lot of fun to make i think that it because the sparkle creations images have so much area to add details to win you color them in.

sewing it up
Over at karens doodles challenge blog this week the challenge is to show sewing on your card. I choose to use the back to school set and some fun primary color striped paper. I then did some fake black stitching around the edge of the card. Very nice and simple but a great card to give to kiddo heading back to school and wishing them good luck in the year ahead.

sugar bowl for the boys.
On the sugar bowl they have a great sketch to follow as well as the theme for the boys. When i think boys and sugar nellie rock idol is my go to choice. He fun to color and you can match him up for a boy card really well. I distressed the edges of the panel behind rock idol and i used a sentiment from verve stamps i think it from the you rock stamp set.

Brewing up something special
At kraftin kimmie stamps this week there a sketch to follow. I used the kraftin image perfect posion cause it almost halloween time and i think she is lots of fun to color up in halloween colors. Though she probably work as well for a evil valentine type of theme if she brewing a love potion :) Anyway my papers are from cosmo cricket matalida stack. Image is colored with copics.

Teapot card
This card was made for two challenges. It uses the cricut cartridge a childs year.
First challenge is flutter by wednesday- open theme as long as it has a angel, butterfly or fairy. My fairy is from paper make up stamps it the tangi fairy with matching sentiment.
Second challenge is paper make up make up for the weekend- non circle card. Now my dear friend shaela picked this challenge and i could of gone the route i normally go when i run across this theme and that to get my cricle file out for my cricut. But i been wanting to use my cricut carts more and a childs year has a bunch of really neat card shapes on it. So i flipped thru and spotted the tea pot card and i just got the tangii fairy so my card was off and running. I added some cuttlebug embossing on the front of the card and finished it off with some brown ribbon. This card is a very plain and simple one for me i kept wanting to add more bling but it just made it look worse so i left it plain.

caroling josh
Over on the sparkle creations challenge blog the theme this week is make something inspired by winter. I choose to color up caroling josh, singing christmas carols in the snow is definately a winter time activity at lest in my part of the world. I used papers from cosmo cricket mitten weather. Happy to know you
I think this image from whiff of joy is a very sweet and loving image. I felt it worked really well for the following challenges.

The pixie cottage- follow the sketch or theme or both. I choose to go with the theme which is something sweet. Not only is the candy cane in my image sweet but the two mice hugging and loving on each other is very sweet as well.

let it snow
I just adored this adorable new image form whiff of joy it called ice-beary greetings. I decided he was perfect to use for the following two challenges.
Whiff of joy - distressing with a whiff of joy image. I distressed the edges of the papers on the different layers of my card. My image is colored with copic markes. Pattern paper is dcwv the winter combo and the cuttle bug embossing is the snowflake folder in the a2 size.

Frosty the snowman
Frosty the snowman is one of my all time favorite christmas songs. I love the magic of how frosty comes to life and gets to play all day tell it gets hot out. So i saw that paper make up stamps wants a card inspired by a song. So i thought and thought what do i have that works with a song from paper make up oh i have that adorable snowman set that shaela odd designed. So out comes the snowman, the snowflake paper, my drippy goo punch and there you have a frosty the snowman inspired card. So hop on over to the paper make up blog and enter you song inspired card. Snow fun
It been a while since i played at mo's digital pencil so this week i popped on by mo's digital pencil challenge blog. There a sketch to follow and of course your favorite mo's image. I recently won my choice of image from a mo blog hop and i choose kai in the snow. I love how cute he looks enjoying the snow fall. I went with a gray and blue feel and used a studio g sentiment with some plain white ribbon. I hope you enjoy my card and comments are always appreciated.

happy gnome tag
At the meljens design team and challenge blog the theme this week is tags. I had these big wooden tags from unity stamp co that came on some of the stamp i rec;d. So i covered the wooden tag with a print from basic grey oliver paper pad. I printed out this happy gnome from meljen designs. I colored him up and cut him out. I then add the sentiments hello and your a wonderful friend. Add some black inking along the edge and some brown ribbon. I think this tag would be great for a friend to hang in there room to cheer then up. I certainly makes me want to smile. Head on over and share your tags.
woj penguin sledding wth simon says
Over on the simon says challenge blog this week there a recipe to follow. The recipe is was 2 papers, 3 emblishments and one image. So i used some more of this wonderful winter digital paper. I used the stripes and the snowflakes for my two papers. I used a white cardstock base. My 3 emblishments are the silver brads on the right of the image. My image is brand new whiff of joy and it called penguins winter fun you can pick it up now at the whiff of joy store. Have a great day.

journey
This week at the pixie cottage there a theme of stiching and a sketch to follow. I choose to go the stitching route. I recently won a very nice blog candy that included some greeting farm stamps. One of those stamps was the oa-journey set. I thought oliver on a journey went very well with this pattern paper from the dcwv all about men stack. I stitched with my husband help around the pattern paper. Added my stampin up border punch to either side and added some white ribbon. Oliver is colored with copics. I added some fake stiching along the bottom and top of the card.

flutter by wednesday fall
Over on the flutter by wednesday blog the challenge is to use a butterfly, fairy or angel in a fall theme. I love this butterfly from gina k hope for hati set cause it has a very nice sentiment that goes with it. I used fall colors and i stamped the butterflyy on yellow mustard color cardstock and cut it out. I inked the inside of a nestablties square with brown memento ink. I followed the card sketch from splitcoast stampers sc302. Hope you have a great day.
skulls galore
Lil Lolita boutique challenges wants to see skulls this week. This challenge was pretty easy as most of the images i have that are lil lolita have skulls on the characters and then i had downloaded this digital paper that had skulls on it to and then i used an old splitcoast sketch and i was off and running. I added some ribbon and brads.
orange, black and green wfp
The wild flower patch wants to see a color combo of orange, black and green this week. I used this halloween witch from magnolia and used my drippy goo punch. I colored her with copics.
metal mania
Over on the delightful sketches blog this week they want to see metal on your cards. I used skater ian from the greeting farm and used metal eyelets to tie my ribbon accents. I also distressed my papers and entered this card into wtw for club anya. I hope you like my card.
