The christmas card challenge is to use mostly pink on your card. I used some stampin up scraps that i have and of course my favorite unity set jolly little winter. I was looking thru my scraps and i pulled out some left over bo bunny summer papers. I got to thinking okay what i am going to make with this. Oh i have dude from pms and thus a summer card is born and this fits the quixotic theme of make a splash. Dude is totally ready to go surf some waves. This is my card for the sketch saturday sketch challenge. I used this darling whiff of joy image willow with umbrella. I picked some papers that looked like she was standing in the rain. I attempted the sketch for this week whiff of joy challenge. I not very happy with this card i love how the image came out when i colored her with the purple and greens but i think cause the sketch has the image tilited it just does not work for me but the card is cute and will go in my winter stash. Papertake weekly challenge this week is a great sketch challenge. So i took some scraps from my file folder project and inked up my whimsy spring stepping carousel horse. My friend was making a cute project the other night and i decided i wanted to try my hand at one. This a double pocket file folder bought at staples. It been folded in and then i added some pretty papers, some of favortie sugar nellie, whiff of joy and sarah kay images. There are 4 tags that you can pull out and add either journaling or pictures. I am thinking it be cute to show case little girl pictures. I have a second one that i am working on so keep your eye out for that. I hope you enjoy taking a peek at a new to me project.

I rec'd my paper make up order in the mail today and i could hardly wait to ink up my danni butterfy. She was a lot of fun to color. I used danni for the copic creations black hair color challenge. I used w7 and w9 to color danni hair black. I never realized that your really don't use the black 100 to make black hair you really use shades of gray. You learn something new everyday i guess. I actually had time to do the pms makeup for the weekend challenge. It a super easy one and you don;t have to use pms but if you have them why not show them off. All you have to do is use a template of some kind. The design team showed off some really cute ones from my time made easy. Well i am template challenged mostly cause i have to hand cut them out once i print them. No scal program for my cricut. I had tryed to do this box once before and did do well but today luck was with me. This is the free cutsey cover template from the my time made easy company. I printed it off my printer and then colored up isabella and put on her front and now i have super cute little box to add a small card to or something. Last night was the april release party for paper make up stamps. I asked if we were doing challenges, my pms stamps are feeling lonely, katie said she did not have one planned. Then she said let me just make one up lol. So we have a challenge yeah. The challenge is to use one image, 2 emblishments and 3 colors. My one image is rose, my 2 emblishments are the brads and ribbon, and my 3 colors are blue, green, and grey. Pattern paper is from dcwv linen closet. Hope you have a fablous day.
