It sassy studio relay day 3 and today we got to use bewitched. I wanted this image for a long time but never purchased it. I think she a lot of fun to color and i found this cute sentiment stop for a spell to go with her. I was afraid i did not have any paper that would work but i found my halloween stash buried and found this really neat looking diamond pattern and scrap of spider web ribbon left over from who knows when. It day two of the sassy studio relay and today those that played yesterday by the deadline are making creations with this sassy princess. I used art glitter on her dress and then sponged my argyle background for a nice soft yellow effect. I added a sentiment from paper make up stamps. Sassy studio is doing a relay where you can collect free images. The relay is in honor of sassy studio being open for a year. All you have to do is create something with the image before 9 am the next day to get the next days freebie. Sassy cassie is today freebie. I think she is a very sassy lady and also very lady like so i paired her with this great freebie word art from elegant word art 2. I used some ribbon and some of these roses from michaels. I have created 3 creations for this wonderful opportunity.

My first card features spring stepping from whimsy stamps. I used one of the matching sentiments that come with this adorable set. I colored her with copic markers and matched her up with basic grey paper.

My second card features proud mama also from whimsy stamps with a matching sentiment that comes in the set. I used digital papers from shabby princess. Image is colored with copics and glittered with stickles.
My third creation uses an image from gina k designs call purffect delight. I colored it with copics. Papers are from basic grey. Flowers are from michaels wedding section.

celebrate babies with mo

Over on mo's digital pencil we are celebrating babies for our challenge this week. I choose to make a cute a2 card box with a matching set of 4 cards to go in it. I used sleepy sage as my image and you can find her in mos store. I used swiss dots cuttle bug folder and some cute flowers i found at michaels in the wedding section. challenge used to use a Karen doodles image and stitching on our project either fake or real. I went with one of the followers freebies and a fitting sentiment. I even colored with my colored pencils instead of my copics. I did fake stitching along the edges of my card stock. Hope you like it.

New Beginnings

The theme for sentimental sundays challenge is new beginnings. I used one of the free sentiments and my digital baby jamie from paper make up stamps. I had this cute baby moon emblishment from the dollar tree so i added that in. This card is going to my neighbor who just had a new baby girl 3 weeks ago. I know it a boy fairy but he so cute and i put him yellow with a pink raddle. I really love it

Mo's dp2 challenge is to use a mo's image and love. It open to your interpation, color and sketch. I choose to use mo's image i love it. I love this image cause it my son to a tea. He loves his trains and knows the name and make of each and everyone. He loves train shows, going to train museums. Anyway i paired it with some car paper and some matching ribbions. Mo's challenge blog has the new challenge up for this week and its to use flowers. Random generator picked my card last week from the water challenge so i choose to get sleepy sage. I of course printer her out and used her for this challenge. My flower paper is from sandylion and theni added some purple flowers in the corner. I used the skin then picked papers from the dcwv la creme stack to get a vintage feel to my card and then i used this cute image new friend to further play out the vintage feel then i added some inking around the edges and i did some distressing on the black piece of behind the pattern papers. Gave us a great sketch to work with thise week. On my card i decided to make a 5 1/2 squared card then i used my 5 x 7 snowflake cuttlebug folder on the background. Scrap Pile Saturday

We all have scraps and they all pile up on us now and then. I found a neat challenge that requires you only use scraps and and that you only use all ready open products for your emblishments. I was so tickled that everything i used came from my scraps even the card base. Even better i even stamped a pre stamped image i rec'd as a rak so i did not even have to ink up a stamp.
