preschool graduation and a cute card

This picture features my son darrel as he walks in with his classmates for his preschool graduation.  They got to keep those darling yellow hats and were all given a diploma.  Its hard to believe my little man is going to be heading off to kindergarden in the fall.  How times flies.  They even sang a song called fingerprints that all about how we need to remember that were small once to and even though we get upset they won't be small for long. 

This card features surfer dude from paper make up stamps.  Christi Thorsen was nice enough to stamp me some so i could play around with him and convince myself i need to purchase him myself.  You can find other cute stamps like this at www.papermakeupstamps.com

Teacher appreciation gifits

I saw this adorable design on the cricut board so i asked someone to cut it out for me and send it to me so i could assemble it for a teacher gift.  I am talking about the adorable backpacks in my photos.  I assembled them and then made a bookmark to put inside along with some candy.  The cards are made with today freebie from the dustin pike blog.  www.dustinpike.blogspot.com

There is a boy and girl version of the kid graduates that i used on the teacher appreciation cards.  Oh did i mention the file is FREE!   The worm i used on the bookmark is also a freebie and can be found on the victoria case blog.   I hope you enjoy my project.

border swap layout

I recently did a summer beach borders swap on split coast stampers.  I got some really cute sets back.  Basically you get all the pieces you need to make a 2 page layout.  I usually add some elements of my own but most of the elements are all made for you.  I had some images stamped from unity beach day and sun rays kit so i used those and i was able to swap for the sun so i stamped that. I also used my cricut graphically speaking cart to make the title catch a wave.  I hope you enjoy and that inspires you to start on your summer pages.  I have no idea if i will go to the beach this summer but the page is still cute. 

Splitcoast stampers wed card sketch 229

Hi ladies it wed and that means a new card sketch is up at split coast stampers. I was able to crank out two cards for this sketch. One features an image i got from dustin pike.  He is a very talented guy when it comes to designing cute dino images.  This is one of my favorites.  It also has a sentiment on it from the unity may kit of the month.  The other card features a very darling image with a great saying on it.  It is from the may unity kit of the month which i got in the mail this morning.  I hope you enjoy my cards.

summer vacation flip book

iwatched a great tutorial online at a fellow bloggers blog.  Her name is maren and she is one talented lady.  She inspired me to make my own version of her flip book.  I did summer vacation theme.  I will put pictures of whatever my son ends up doing during his summer vacation in it. I used images from unity lifes a beach set that someone stamped for me. I also used a lot of cut out from cricut new lifes a beach cart.  I also used some summer themed rubons and papers from the dcwv all about boys stack and some paper that a friend of mine gave me from a stamp your pattern paper swap. I hope you like my summer vacation flip book. 

Gratitude equals joy Cards
