This card showcases paper from the basic grey sultry collection. I used a unity flower and a studio g sentiment. I added some bling and stamped the image in memento bamboo leaves instead of the standard black. I added a martha stewart punched butterfly in the corner. I hope you like it.

kindergarten school photo

This is my 5 year old sons kindergarten school photo. We told him to smile nicely for the camera as he missed regular photo day this was taken on retake day. I wanted a great photo and i was nervous well he did a great job. All smiles and a great funky hair do to go with. This school photo shows off so much of my sons personality i was very pleased with how the photo and layout came together so nicely. Thanks for stopping by.

tilda with nesties die

With some christmas money i got i decided to take the plunge and i bought my first nestablties dies. I decided to go with a shape i use alot and that is rectangles. I purchased classic rectangles small. It took a bit but i figured out the correct combo for my cuttle bug. I colored in this tilda image that someone stamped and sent me. I used copics to color her in and basic grey lemonade pattern paper for the background. I hope you like my simple card.

magnolia valentine

I have started on my valentine cards for this year. I inked up my only magnolia stamp and then paired her with some scraps from my friends paper scraps. I also added some pink riboon and the cut tag from her stash as well. I hope your inspired to start on some valentines or lovey dovey cards.

This is my card for sweet sunday sketch and my card is a total case of the one of the design team members but she did such a great job and i had the stamp. I choose to go with a blue theme instead of the reds she went with. You can see the card i cased on her blog

side step friend ship card

HI everyone here is my first side step card. I cut it out on my cricut using a file that i had created for me by jen and terri from the messages boards. I have a file using plantation school book and then two files using george. If your interested i will get you in touch with the original desingers of the files.

I used some scrap papers from a dcwv stack and then of course my favorite paper make up stamp and sentiment. I colored my image in with copic markers. I hope you enjoy my card and inspired to make your own.

new cuttlebug folder distressed snow and magnolia

I rec'd a new cuttlebug folder that i bought off ebay in the mail yesterday. The folder is called distressed snow. I ran it through my cuttlebug and then i sanded it down so you can see the white core from the cardstock. Then i colored out alva sitting i rec'd a few these stamped images from a dear lady on wish rak from splitcoast stampers. I really love alva and alf and hope to own them at some point. I then inked up the sentiment from paper make up stamps snow friends stamp set. Have a wonderful day.

Friends of Paper Makeup blog hop

Hello and welcome to Friends of Paper Makeup blog hop. You can find all the details over on the paper make up blog here There was not theme for this hop other then to create a project with paper make up stamps. I hope you enjoy my piece of paper make up eye candy.


I choose to use henry for snow. I printed him off on white card stock then colored and cut him out and raied him on pop dots above my orginal printed image. I hooe you enjoy the rest of the hop.

This first layout is of my nephew preston in the pumpkin patch. I just love the look on his face so cute.

paper makeup november release challenges #2

November 7th has passed and that means there been a new release party over at paper make up stamps. As always there are two challenges and that means 2 chances to win a stamp of your choice. The second challenge is a receipe challenge. You need to use textured or embossed cardstock, pink, black and something shiny. You need paper make up stamps to participate but if you got them why not use them. Here my card for the receipe challenge.

I made card for one of the gina k release party challenges. We were to use dimensional to prop our image up. I used a house of mouse image that i thought paired really well with some new paper and ribbon i picked up at Michael's. Hope you like it.

hauntingly sweet kind of day.

The set i choose to ink up today is from unity again. It there a new halloween set for this year called hauntingly sweet. It features a cute candy corn tree and 3 different sentiments. I don't know about you but i love candy corn. Its one of my favorite halloween treats. You used to only get it at halloween then easter came along and now you can get it in pinks and green colors. Oh well here my card for today.
