perfect day
Over on the bells and whistles challenge blog this week theme is anything but winter. I choose to use cupcake cause she my favorite bells and whistles image and one of my favorite kind of cards to make is a happy card to share with someone on their birthday. I went with a grey and blue theme for this card.

Simple adorable sugar nellie
I was recently able to get 3 of the new simply adorable digital images from sugar nellie. I really like how simple and sweet and easy they are to color and add to a card. On the sugar bowl we are following a sketch this week. My image is joy sitting and she avialable as a digital image from funky kits. I colored her up with copics and then paired her up with papers from the fine and dandy line from in my minds eye. I thought the flowers and crystals added a nice soft touch to go with this sweet little girl.

Etsy inspired la pomme
For this week etsy inspired the shop is la pomme and of course your to be inspired by something you see in the shop. I saw this stack of vintage music sheets and i was off and running.
My card features paper from echo park be mine collection and the butterfly and matching sentiment are from gina k designs. I used gold embossing powder for the butterfly and tim holtz distressing ink to make the paper less white and more old vintage looking. I hope your inspired to go be etsy inspired.

for the boys
I love this image from motivet stamps it is little boy with umberlla i think he looks like he just having a blast playing with these ducks. I am entering this card into two challenges.

Delight in the day
It time to work on some cards that make you think of spring and warm days. Is it spring yet. This adorable image is from mo's digital pencil and the sentiment is from unity stamp co. I am entering this card in the following challenges.

enjoy the magic of the day
I got another christmas card done and i did something new to me i used a pre colored digital stamp. Now don;t get me wrong i love to color but it was nice to just get this one done and over with i think it took like 5 mins. I am entering this card into the following challenges

ABC Christmas challenges - a is for anything Christmas and snow and ice and being cold are all part of that lovely holiday.
I also followed the sketch over on splitcoast stampers and that is sketch number 315. In case you want to check that out.

I love how this card turned out. The colors worked so well together i was quite pleased with how it all came together. I am entering this card into the following challenges.

Proud Mama
This card features one of my favorite images from whimsy stamps Proud Mama. I was inspired by another card stampers card that i saw online where she colored this image in browns and oranges. You can see here card here

The pixie cottage - follow sketch and or theme. The theme is punches i used a martha stewart border punch called scroll lace, and a corner punch to make the corner punches on the image.

Tie it up with sparkle creations
Sparkle creations first challenge of the new year is a really easy one. Tie it up. So get out your ribbon, twin and make some cute additions to your cards. I used cocktail emily for my card. I added some ribbon along the bottom and used a cute matching bow in the center. I colored emily with copic markers and my paper is from in my minds eye lovenest.

Over on the icopic lovers blog we are challenge to use red, brown and cream on our creation. I used an image from ladybug and friends called especailly for you. My papes are from cosmo cricket, image is colored with copics and i used some prima baby roses to accent the card.

Embossing Christmas card challenges
At the Christmas Card challenge blog this week we are using embossing on our Christmas cards. I used two different ways to emboss. I used my 5 x 7 snowflake embossing folder for the background and then i used my nestablties for the oval and rectangle and embossed them. My image is from the greeting farm warm and cozy snoman set. Ribbon is from michaels and image is colored with copics. Have fun and get a jump on those christmas cards.

On the sentimental Sunday's challenge blog we are celebrating friendship this week. I choose to use one of the freebie sentiments from the blog and paired it with Mo manning facebook freebie. You can pick this image up for free from mo tell January 3rd. Just follow her on facebook and pick it up in the photos section and be sure to say thank you. bless the beast and children
Mo's digital pencil challenge this week is to make a card that features mo's images of pets and children. One of my favorite mo's images is this one and it called buds. I paired it with a sentiment from tlc creations and my paper is in my minds eyes fine and dandy. I cut the yellow border punch piece with my cricut and design studio using the graphically speaking cartridge. I hope you enjoy my first card of 2011.
