it Wednesday and this is the 4 th day of the caardvarks sketchfest challenge. I am on track with completion of all 7 sketches. Here is my card for day 4. I turned the sketch on its side to accomdate my image and to show off the cuttlebug background.

unity halloween and christmas card

Hello ladies i have a couple of projects to share. I wanted to share more but my son is having some behavorial issues at school so it ended up just being two. One is halloween card and the other is a christmas card. Hope you enjoy what i have to share.

The first card is a halloween card showcasing some of the cute monsters from the cuter then most set by unity. I added a spider and the sentiment from another halloween set. I also used my spider web embossing folder from cuttle bug on the background. The card is based on sketch 246 from splitcoast stampers this week.

My second card is a christmas card that features jolly little winter penguins. I stamped the snow landscape and then stamped the penguin and colored him with copics. He is popped up on dimensionals and then i stamped the snow background. The tag has the same penguin on him and i used the snowflake cuttle bug folder on it.

unity christmas cards and double pocket card

Welcome to my friday post with my unity creations for the week. I am getting a jump start on my christmas cards and it really easy to do when you use unity stamps. I hope your isnpired to get started on your own christmas cards. I have 3 projects to show you 2 are christmas and the other is a thank you/birthday card.

First card is a tri shutter card. I really like the looks of these cards so much room to use images and still have room to include a message. I am hoping to attach wallets of my christmas family photo to these once we get them taken. I used unity jolly little winter and the believe quote stamp. I cut the tri shutter card out on my cricut using my cricut design studio. If your interested in the file let me know.

My second card is another tri shutter card can you tell i like doing these they are really easy when you use your cricut to cut them out. It even cuts all the little pieces that you use to cover the base of the card. I used last year christmas stamp set from unity.

My final project for you is a double pocket card which i also cut out using a file from cricut design studio and my cricut. I love making my cricut work for me. I used the flower from unity august kit of the month on the tag in the top pocket and the second pocket contains a wallet size photo of my son. The butterfly is from stampin up big shot die. Paper is ctmh.

Here are my projects

First up i have a 12 x 12 layout.  This layout showcases one of my favorite shots of my son heading off to his first day of kindergarten. I used unity school of rock stamp set.  You can see the ruler as a border along the left and bottom of the page,  The report card stamp in the bottom right corner.  I love school along the side of the photo.   The abc line stamp in the top left corner, super star stamp on the top right corner.   Of course in the very bottom right corner is the school house stamp from unity august kit of the month.   The journaling expresses how proud i am of my little boy and how brave he is about going to his class room by himself and how he is enjoying making friends and learning new things. 

My second project is a casing of a card i saw that is entered for the september kit of the month challenge.   You can see the original card on

I used the july kit of the month and the colors that we are being asked to use for the september

kit of the month challenge, orange, purple, black and green.

For my final card i wanted to use my new new stampin up die and of course my all time favorite unity stamp set jolly little winter. I also used my new cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder.  I colored in my penguin with copics and cut him out and placed in the snow scene.
